Refund Policy
Our approach
We build CELEST DSP plugins to meet a high standard, and we want you to be confident in your purchase before you spend a cent. That is why we offer a free trial on our plugins. We strongly encourage you to download the trial, run it in your own sessions, and make sure it sounds and performs the way you expect on your system before buying. The trial is the best way to know a plugin is right for you.
That said, if something is not right after you buy, we want to hear from you. This policy explains when and how we offer refunds, and it is written to be fair to you while being honest about the realities of digital goods.
Refund window and eligibility
Because our plugins are downloadable digital products that cannot be returned once delivered, refunds are handled on the terms below rather than as automatic returns.
You may request a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible, your request should meet the following conditions:
- Your request is made within the refund window above.
- You purchased directly from CELEST DSP through our official storefront. Purchases made through third-party resellers are subject to that reseller's policy.
- The license has not been resold, transferred, or shared.
We review every request individually and in good faith. If you are unsure whether you qualify, reach out and we will talk it through.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at support@celestdsp.com and include:
- The email address used for the purchase
- Your order or receipt number
- The product name
- A short note on why you are requesting a refund (this helps us improve)
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Non-refundable situations and exceptions
To keep things fair for everyone, refunds may be declined in cases such as:
- Requests made after the refund window has passed
- Evidence of license abuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms of Service or EULA
- Purchases where a chargeback or payment dispute has already been opened with your bank (please contact us first so we can resolve it directly)
- Change of mind after extended use beyond what is reasonable for evaluation, especially where a free trial was available
If a request falls outside this policy, we will still review it and do our best to find a fair outcome.
Your statutory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits or removes any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer protection law in your country or region of residence, including, for customers in Canada, applicable provincial consumer protection legislation. Where such laws apply, they take precedence over the terms above.
For example, customers in the EU and UK may have a statutory right of withdrawal on digital purchases. Please note that for digital downloads, this right can be lost once you begin downloading or accessing the product, where you have expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right. If you believe a statutory right applies to your purchase, contact us and we will honor it.
Failed, duplicate, and technical charges
If you were charged more than once, charged for an order that failed, or ran into a technical problem that prevented you from downloading or activating your plugin, that is on us to fix. Email support@celestdsp.com with your order details and we will sort it out, including issuing a refund for any duplicate or erroneous charge.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
